KRISTEN BIAGINi

PRINCIPAL DESIGNER & OWNER

An artist at heart, Kristen began her design career early on rearranging furniture while babysitting for family friends.  After receiving a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of New Hampshire and a short stint in the business world, Kristen went back to school to follow her heart and pursue a Master’s in Interior Design from Drexel University.

After 10 years as a Commercial Design Studio Director in a large Architectural firm, Kristen moved South to slow things down a bit.  She started to teach Interior Design but felt the urge to go back to work in the field and Kristen Biagini Designs was created.  No job was too small or too large and this is still our motto today.  Kristen oversees all design projects to ensure they reflect our vision for designing livable and beautiful spaces.  Kristen’s strengths lie in her attention to detail, endless inspiration, relentless work ethic and unparalleled energy.

Kristen lives on Amelia Island with her husband, two daughters and labradoodles.  In her free time, she can be found doing lunges in the parking lot or driving between the golf course and the riding barn chasing her active girls.

THE TEAM

MCKENZIE BARCO

LEAD PROJECT MANAGER

Mckenzie started as our summer intern over three years ago and once she stepped foot into the studio, we knew she was a keeper. So we waited patiently for her to finish her Bachelors in Interior Design at FSU and return to KBD full time. Mckenzie loves all things colorful and pretty and she is constantly pushing the envelope for one-of-a-kind designs while researching new products and styles. Her impeccable technological and organizational skills have become an invaluable resource at KBD along with a fresh and stylized approach. You can often find her at any of one of our job sites verifying and documenting each and every detail to ensure a seamless and cohesive design. When not working (which is rare) you will find Mckenzie doing all things active as she has enough energy to outlast us all!

CAROL WRIIGHT

LOGISTICS MANAGER

Carol has a newly relative role here at KBD handling the logistics of our dynamic design process. You can find her processing all orders, tracking our shipments, preparing for installations and scheduling while handling the daily ins and outs of KBD. She also has the super critical role of managing our warehouse and delivery process which is essential to our final goal of providing livable, luxurious interiors. Carol is a primary point of contact for our internal staff to ensure all the wheels are moving in the same direction. She has two grown children and can multi=task and juggle logistics better with a smile and can-do attitude that keeps us all smiling. !

NATALIE thelemanN

OFFICE MANAGER

Natalie is our go-to person for all things that keep KBD operating day-in and day-out. She manages our thousands of purchases each year along with running KBD and keeping the snack jar full. She is our client point of contact for billing, invoicing and can almost always point anyone in the right direction should they call the office. She is the first to jump in and help out on install days or supper when necessary, just don’t ask her advice on paint colors!
